Our newborn photographers are specially trained in safe newborn posing techniques and work with patience and gentleness to create those iconic posed newborn images — as well as natural lifestyle shots of your family welcoming your new arrival.
Our studio maintains a warm temperature suitable for newborns throughout the session. We never rush — newborn sessions can last 2–4 hours to allow for feeding, settling, and the careful posing required. The safety and comfort of your baby is always our absolute priority.

When is the best time to do a newborn shoot?
The ideal time for newborn photography is within the first 5–14 days of birth when babies sleep deeply and can be gently posed. We recommend booking before your due date to secure your preferred date.
Is newborn photography safe?
Absolutely. Our newborn photographer is trained in safe posing techniques. We never force a pose, always have a parent nearby, and prioritise baby's safety above all else. The studio is kept warm and all props are sterilised.
What should I bring to a newborn studio session?
Bring extra nappies, feeding essentials, a favourite pacifier, and any special items (blanket, toy, booties) you'd like in the photos. We provide all wraps, props, and backdrops.
Do you photograph older children too?
Yes. We photograph children of all ages from newborn to 12 years, as well as sibling sessions, family portrait sessions including children, and school/activity-based portrait sessions.
